Before I became a full-time entrepreneur in 2018 I had a few things to focus on.

1) Paying off for the van I purchased in 2015.

2) Planning for my daughter’s move into tertiary education.

3) Purchase a new home or do a full renovation where I am now.

4) Retirement

While those are still my plans, I’ll admit that the degree of difficulty in achieving them as a full-time entrepreneur has been crazy.

Starting my journey with over 100K in debt was particularly painful and even had me question 🤔 moving back into full-time work.

However, with faith, a belief in what I want to achieve, a commitment to making a difference, and deliberate action. I’ve been able to see some of those things through.

This pic represents my second to last payment on the van 🚐 and the elimination of over 100K in debt over the last 3 years.

It’s an amazing feeling, however, I’m not sharing this to celebrate me but say this.

Entrepreneurship isn’t easy, it seems glamorous but behind the scenes and screens, real-life happening.

We can all be successful entrepreneurs but we must:

1) Have a plan

2) Treat it with the same level of respect ✊ you had for our 8-4 jobs.

3) Do “ALL” of the work, not just the easy bits.

3) Believe in yourself and trust the process.

A by-product of this as well will be the respect you have for yourself, other entrepreneurs, your business, and your customers.

Here is an update.

✅ Paying off for the van I purchased in 2015.

✅ Planning for my daughter’s move into tertiary education.

3) Purchase a new home or do a full renovation where I am now. (Work in progress)

4) Retirement (Work in progress)

I hope this inspires you all, I’ll love to see everyone WIN 🏆.
